This book is mostly about a boy named Henry and his dog Mudge. Henry and Mudge lov winter. When they saw the first snow they went outside and played for four hours. They had a snowball fight and went inside then they took a long nap and then they ate Christmas Eve dinner.

My favorite part of the book was when Henry made snow angels. Mudge went behind him and messed them all up.
